We’re gearing up to open a beautiful new location in the Valdosta, Georgia area! We’re so excited for this opportunity to grow our business in a way that allows us to better serve you, our valued customers. We want to tell you all about it!

But, first, let us tell you why we made this decision.

 

Adapting is the Whitehead Way

Whitehead Industrial Hardware, a division of Miller Hardware Company, has always been a family business. When the Miller family purchased Whitehead back in 1972, it served as a wholesale hardware store at the time. Today, Whitehead is the complete hardware source for all of South Georgia and North Florida.

Our growth was no easy feat, however. Over the past several decades, we’ve overcome many challenges in our industry. From new technology and equipment to the ebb and flow of a changing economy, as a family, we’ve weathered the storm.

When you’re part of a hundred-year-old company like Miller Hardware, adapting is just what you do.

And, we’re not alone. We’ve realized that our customers have also changed. You’ve overcome significant industry challenges along the way and your needs have evolved. Valdosta’s needs have changed as well. And, we know it’s important that we grow and adapt to meet those needs.

That’s why we’ve spent months planning, designing and creating a brand-new showroom. It’s almost time to unveil this new chapter in our journey together. We want you to be a part of it!

You’ll still have access to the same expert advice, support and expansive inventory from over 1200 manufacturers that you’ve come to expect from us — now in an even better location!

We’ve also revamped our website so that our customers can have access to the products, resources, and advice that Whitehead Industrial provides, even when you’re off-site. Whether you need your maintenance supplies restocked or your bolt bins replenished, we can accommodate all of your industrial needs.

As always, we can deliver to your job site, business or municipality in over 37 counties. Or, you can take advantage of our counter pickup services if that’s more convenient. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and equipment you need in the timeliest and most helpful way possible. That’s the Whitehead way.

Valdosta has always been our home. Our own community has evolved and adapted to the times, but it’s always kept its promise to the people who call it home. Even as we’ve grown to serve our community, we believe in preserving those small town values that brought us all together. We realize our growth would never have been possible without you. Join Us for the Lowndes County Chamber Ribbon Cutting on May 17th!

The grand opening of our new storefront is just around the corner and we want our friends and neighbors to join us for the festivities! As a way to show our appreciation and support to our community, we will be presenting 6 Distinguished Tradesman Awards to graduating students from Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. These students have demonstrated their commitment to excellence in each of the six trade programs the college has to offer.

Not only will we also have our local newspaper and radio station in attendance for this special event, we have some other great treats in store. While we celebrate, enjoy Sunset Farm Food sausage dogs, Martin’s Famous Pastry Shoppe buns and other goodies!
